Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
⦁ Assisting with the transition of drawing from AutoCAD to EPLAN, collaborating with the Automation Department to establish drawing standards and working methods
⦁ Generating electrical drawings and panel layouts, along with supporting electrical documentation such as Bill of Materials, Component Lists, Cable Schedules, and Terminal Rail Layouts
⦁ Ensuring prompt updates of all electrical drawings throughout the project lifecycle and sharing with all relevant departments
⦁ Maintaining a database of preferred electrical devices to ensure consistency in functional hardware from project to project

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:
⦁ In-depth knowledge of EPLAN P8 and ideally Pro Panel 3D
⦁ A formal Electrical Engineering Qualification
⦁ A systematic approach to work with high attention to detail
⦁ The ability to work effectively with people across departments and shop floor
⦁ Desirable qualities include an EPLAN Certified Engineer qualification
⦁ Experience in a project environment in cross-functional project teams would be beneficial.

Located in Essex, this role would be commutable from Tilbury, Southend-on-Sea & Chelmsford.
