Welding Supervisor required to join a nationally renowned steelwork provider on a permanent basis. Guaranteed overtime paid at time and half. Realistic earnings over £40,000 with a 6% matched pension and annual bonus. This position will offer the right candidate a fantastic opportunity to join an employer who values its workforce.

Due to a growing order book that already stretches well into 2025. A new requirement for a welding supervisor has become available. The right candidate will have supervisory experience and be accountable for delivering results on the company's day shift operation.

Welding Supervisor Benefits:

Welding Supervisor Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring Adherence to Health and Safety Procedures: Vigilantly uphold health and safety protocols at all times.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Oversee the production of high-quality work, ensuring strict adherence to quality procedures and work instructions.
• Discipline and Effective Teamwork: Maintain discipline by promoting effective collaboration among colleagues and addressing any issues.
• Shop Floor Responsibilities: Perform various tasks related to shop floor quality and health & safety.
• Efficiency Enhancement: Collaborate with the Production Management Team to improve efficiency and performance levels.
• Scope of Responsibilities: Cover all day shift fabrication activities, including Fabrication, Welding, and Inspection.

Welding Supervisor Skills & Key Competencies:

• Must have minimum of 3 years of team leader / supervisory experience, ideally gained in a shop floor fabrication environment, or similar industry.
• Previous MIG, MAG, plater Welding experience

• Ideally, the right candidate will come from a structural welding background

• To be able to give good verbal instructions and work in a safe and disciplined manner.
