Role Description

• Management of 2 direct reports to ensure all departmental requirements are met , a high standard of work and put in place development plans
• Liaise with other departments to ensure that all requirements are met
• Engage with suppliers on New Product development
• Investigate operational problems on the production line and liaise with management, engineering and operators to ensure appropriate solutions.
• Maintain and develop all administrative and documentation systems such as QMS .Compile all necessary documentation and technical reports
• Implementation of corrective actions ensuring they are implemented efficiently within set time frames
• Manage the development and maintenance of the internal auditing process in line with requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and manage all improvement plans driving a reduction in PPM performance

Skills and Qualifications

• Engineering/Manufacturing Background
• IS09001 Auditing knowledge
• Knowledge and experience with quality tools
• Continuous improvement tools and techniques
• New product induction knowledge
