We're looking for a highly motivated Mechanical or Process Engineer to join our team. Embrace the Challenge- Optimise complex waste treatment processes and lead the way to a greener future!

In return, we offer a salary of £47,689 - £55,939 plus up to 10% bonus structure (£5,593), Car Scheme (Company Car, or Car Allowance- £8,475), Private Health Care, Company Pension, and Benefits Catalogue.
Total Package at the time of joining up to £70,007.

What will you be doing?

The more efficiently our sites work, the better they are for the environment, as well as our business. Your role will primarily be focused on providing specialist technical support for the operation, maintenance and process optimisation of mechanical treatment processes, including Material Recovery Facilities (MRF), Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) and Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) facilities. The role will also offer development opportunities in other waste treatment processes, including composting, anaerobic digestion and thermal treatment.

A Degree holder is desired for this role. We expect you to be an engaged engineer, already Chartered, or working towards this (we will help you to develop and pursue this status).

In your role you will be responsible for:

  • Optimising & leading on complex waste treatment processes for a greener future, ensuring efficient plant operations.
  • Developing & implementing innovative technical solutions to help our customers meet upcoming recycling regulations.
  • Creating impactful technical communications (reports, presentations, proposals) to support your solutions.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Developing technical specifications for newly implemented equipment, overseeing projects from concept to commissioning.

The role is internally known as Technical Plant Engineer.
