Robot Programmer immediately sought to join our client, a rapidly growing Robotics Automation company based in Hampshire. This role involves designing and installing robot system software for a diverse range of clients, providing an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in an innovative environment.

Robot Programmer
£35,000 – 60,000 + Profit Share. Hampshire. Ref: 23647

As a Robot Programmer, your responsibilities will include:
⦁ Creating, debugging and developing robotics code, primarily using FANUC
⦁ Designing and implementing safety logic using Fanuc PMC
⦁ Overseeing the successful interaction of Robot logic with PLC logic
⦁ Participating in the creation of Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
⦁ Creating documentation to demonstrate how processes will work
⦁ Designing machine automation test criteria before installation
⦁ Troubleshooting system errors and providing operational support
⦁ Travelling to clients' locations to discuss their automation needs or provide technical support

The ideal candidate for the Robot Programmer should have experience of:
⦁ Some proven experience as a Robot programmer in the automation industry
⦁ Knowledge of Fanuc TP, PMC and Karel software and coding practices
⦁ Knowledge of Fanuc simulation software Roboguide
⦁ Able to read and interpret Electrical Schematics. Knowledge of Pneumatic systems, mechanical actuators like Motors and Servo motors and Sensor technology
⦁ Some knowledge of IT programming languages: C#, VB
⦁ Ability to work with minimal supervision. Driving licence and ability to travel when required.
