Inspection Engineer

Our Client is a Global Oil and Gas Operating company. They are looking for an Inspection Engineer.
Degree qualified Materials / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Roles and Responsibilities that would make a candidate suitable to consider:
- Acts as the Company's subject matter expert for risk based inspection (RBI), integrity management, and /or materials & corrosion of fixed equipment and piping.
- Responsible for defining and implementing RBI or integrity program at a chemical plant or refinery.
- Interacts with jurisdictional agencies and company management
- Responsible for driving improved effectiveness of the company's inspection procedures.
- Responsible for the training and technical development of inspectors.
- Leads the implementation of new company inspection practices and ensures the existing ones are being properly followed.
- Communicates with other sites / across company / industry bodies about learnings and incidents.
The type of work Assignments candidates should have had in their career:
- Lead or Senior Inspection engineer
- Inspection Group Leader or Manager
- Site or company central Materials, Corrosion, Mechanical or Maintenance / Plant Engineer
- Engineer on a Major Project (>100MUSD)
- Senior Inspection Engineer
- QA Manager on Major Project
- Reliability or Fixed Equipment Engineer
- Inspection Section Supervisor
