Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
⦁    Designing electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN
⦁    Producing Bills of Materials using Agile product lifecycle management software
⦁    Attending specification meetings with customers, providing authoritative contribution regarding the Electrical design aspects of the project
⦁    Completing engineering design on time to the project plan and being aware of cost targets in design, purchase and assembly

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:
⦁    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
⦁    A creative and strategic mindset, with a keen eye for detail
⦁    Practical, hands-on experience and a team player attitude
⦁    Engineering design skills using an electrical CAD package – AutoCAD Electrical ideal however training is provided – you might have Eplan, SEE Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical for example
⦁    An understanding of the machinery directive, UKCA, UL & CE Marking Regulations highly advantageous
⦁    PLC programming experience beneficial but not essential
⦁    An understanding of servo motion technologies helpful

The Electrical Designer will join a skilled electrical team, working on upgrading of older machinery, developing new, and of putting together complete production lines working in conjunction with other departments. You will have the opportunity to work on brand new machinery along with looking at additional technology as it develops. 

Located in Bristol, this role would be commutable from Bath, Nailsea, Weston Super Mare, Trowbridge and Frome.
