E&I Technician

We are looking for E&I Technicians in Chesire for our client.
Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical / COMAH
£50K - £62K plus benefits
Minimum Requiremnts;
- HNC in Industrial Measurement and Control or Equivalent.
- Instrument / E&I Apprenticeship.
- 5 Years Post Apprenticeship experience.
- Knowledge of fault finding in DCS/PLC’s.
- Have a strong safety and risk awareness mindset.
- Have awareness of Environmental, Health and Safety Regulations.
- Be computer literate.
- Be self-motivated and a team player.
- Confidence in using / modifying wiring diagram’s, PID’s etc.
- Knowledge of COMAH sites.
- Compex certified.
Desirable attributes;
- Knowledge of networked Instrumentation (profibus, Fieldbus, modbus)
- Working with safety systems. E.g. application of forces.
- IET Wiring Regulations 18th Ed
- Petrochemical experience.
- Experience of VSD’s commissioning.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems including LV switching, isolation and fault finding etc.
- Experience of managing small projects.
