Bench Dresser

Adept are excited to be working with a Reputable Manufacturer based in Bredbury who supply heavily into Oil and Gas industries who are now looking to recruit a skilled Bench Dresser to join their team.
SHIFTS - Monday - Friday DAYS- Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm & Friday 7am to 1pm
SALARY - £29,000 - £30,000
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understanding Quality procedures including route sheets
- Stamping procedures i.e., Traceability of components
- Basic grinding on abrasive wheels
- Use of measuring equipment
- Read engineering drawings & Geometric Tolerances
- Maintaining and promoting Health and Safety procedures
- Maintenance of equipment
Skills Required:
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Problem-solving
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of hand tools & air tools
- Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and specifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Engineering Apprenticeship preferred but not essential
