Mechanical Construction Manager - Data Centre

£80-105k + accommodation & rotation if required

I'm looking for a Mechanical Construction Manager/Mechanical Lead to work on the mechanical package of a major new Data Centre project in NW London.
Working for a specialist subcontractor, the successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Project Manager, to help drive on site productivity, ensuring the program of works remains on schedule.

Responsibilities will include:

- To Provide quality service and product to clients in line with project goals
- To work closely with the Senior Project Manager, Design, Planning & Technical Services teams
- To work closely with the Health & Safety Manager in planning the works
- To identify problems and offer solutions prior to and during construction
- To review design and shop drawings, the project programme and contribute where necessary
- To produce precise and succinct project reports
- To produce logistic plans and method statements
- To review and manage temporary works processes associated with the works project
- To chair trade contractor meetings when required
- Develop detailed programmes with the project planner


What do you need:
- Degree qualified or time served experience
- Civils, structures package management experience
- Previous experience of successfully carrying out a similar role to a high standard
- Experience of delivering at least one major project
- Data Centre experience
- Delivering complex projects small and large
- Fully conversant with construction and all relevant Health & Safety legislation and previous experience of successful implementation on a major project
- In addition to general knowledge of common building and service trade, has greater in-depth knowledge and expertise of civils and structural, as well as knowledge in specific areas of M&E services are useful
