Job Title: Electrician

Rate: £38,000 - £45,000 plus package

My client is seeking an aspiring & career driven Electrician to be based on their flagship commercial fit out projects in Central London.

Having recently secured a long-term contract with a key tier one developer worth over £100 million in projects. They are actively looking for a client facing and technically strong Electrician. This role is a great opportunity for an aspiring Electrician to join a reputable business who offer the progression into project management over the coming years.

Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience

• Install electrical systems to 18th edition wiring regulations.
• Undertake site surveys, either alone or with the clients to establish their requirements.
• Provide information from surveys to Contracts managers.
• Provide professional assessments to the Contracts managers and clients.
• Possess a working knowledge of lighting control systems such as Dali and Exor.
• Possess working knowledge of IEE regulations, City & Guilds 2360 and 2382 qualifications, and inspection and testing certificate (2391).
• Demonstrate familiarity with NICEIC requirements.
• Have a passion for producing good standards of work to ensure repeat business.
• Uses a working knowledge of electrical systems including Wiring, Containment, fault-finding on existing systems.
• Installs new electrical systems, including lighting and small power, to customer standards and to maintain those systems while upholding safety guidelines and complying with codes and regulations.
• Provide testing and inspection to all installations.
• To Identify damaged or old electrical components
• Restoring and changing fuse boxes, switches, and sockets
• Complying with local and national safety regulations
