Due to the expansion of the maintenance team and a combined approach across their two sites this pharmaceutical business are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join the team.  With two sites located within 30 minutes of each other you will be able to experience both old and new machinery!  On the one hand you will be challenged with older machinery to make upgrades, sourcing parts and a polar opposite site with brand new automated machinery.  There is significant investment and refurbishment planned for the Somercotes site and an increase in production for the Markham Vale site.

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Engineer who is able to carry out planned and preventative maintenance, project work and reactive maintenance.  It is a really great challenge to draw on both your mechanical, electrical & PLC knowledge. 
 
Due to the nature of the business and chemicals onsite, Health and Safety and staff wellbeing is of the upmost importance. Full training is offered across both facilities.

The role as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer: 

• Performing Planning Preventative Maintenance tasks 
• Adhering to all Health and Safety Guidelines 
• Working to deadlines 
• Able to assist with installation works. 
• Working well within a small engineering team 
• Confident to work alone on breakdowns.

Qualifications and experience needed for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• NVQ / C&G Level 3 or greater with an electrical bias. 
• Experience working within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• PLC Experience, would be advantageous but not essential.

Package for you as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Salary of £47,860 (combination of basic salary, call out allowance & shift pay)
• Monday - Friday 4 shift rotation 6am - 2pm 8am - 4pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
• Call out every 3rd weekend - Overtime rate at 1.5x
• Holiday, pension, free parking.
