Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes has a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Miller for one of our manufacturing clients in the Bristol area. Our client supplies complex machined parts to major aerospace companies.

The Company: Our client specialises in machining complex machined parts for the aerospace industry. They are looking for talented CNC Setter Operators to join the business due to the demand from their customers growing.

The Role:  

• Setting and Operating Fanuc/Heidenhain Milling machines
• Installing workpieces, fixtures and cutting tools
• Production of high-quality detail parts
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Adherence to health and safety protocols
• Adherence to specifications and quality standards

The Candidate:

• Experienced CNC setter operator (Milling)
• Knowledge of Heidenhain & Fanuc controls
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Ability to resolve common CNC machine issues (tooling problems etc)
• Experience using measuring equipment
• Understanding of Geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)

The Benefits:

• £20 p/h including shift premium (£38,480)

• Monday to Thursday 6 – 2, 2 – 10, Fridays 6 – 11, 11 – 4
