Are you an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer looking to work on technically challenging projects? Do you want to work for a growing MEP design consultancy?

Our client is a recently established MEP design consultancy based in Central London. Due to their continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer. They are a fast-paced, growing business that offers implementation and specialist knowledge regarding acquisition, design and delivery in the form of MEP design and technical services.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be significantly contributing to projects to deliver excellent service levels to clients and assist in the ongoing development and growth of business, whilst providing sound technical, design and contract management support on electrical building services disciplines.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Providing technical support for successful project preparation and delivery
• Compiling specifications, drawings, contract documents, and maintaining technical quality and compliance
• Acting as lead engineer, liaising with clients and external design teams
• Providing electrical building engineering services design for buildings and infrastructure
• Identifying and managing the scope and scheduling changes through Change Control Process
• Maintaining planning and cost control
• Overseeing delivery of small to large-scale projects from concept to completion
• Adhering to relevant codes, standards, regulations, and procedures.

We are looking for someone who has a strong educational background and around 5 years of experience within an engineering consultancy. You must be proficient with lighting and cable calculation software such as DiaLux and Trimble. Ideally, you will be Chartered or working towards Chartership.
