Semi-Static Commercial Refrigeration Engineer required. Our client is a specialist refrigeration company, with multiple offices throughout the UK, who specialise in the hiring out of commercial refrigeration and catering equipment, such as chilled and frozen display units, chilled and frozen storage, ice cream cabinets, ice machines and bottle coolers etc.

The refrigeration engineer will be splitting their time working on a mobile basis around the North West and also working static at the clients yard in the Warrington area (a few days a week), performing planned service works and repair work on equipment coming back from hire. Equipment worked on, are all of the above mentioned. The Refrigeration Engineer will hold recognised qualifications and certifications such as an NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or the City & Guilds equivalent as well as F-Gas or Safe Handling of Refrigerants.

Static Refrigeration Engineer Position Overview

• Planned service and repair of small to medium commercial refrigeration systems that have come back from hire, as well as visiting sites around the North West to repair systems that have been hired out
• Split between working mobile around the North West and being based at the client's depot / yard in the Warrington

Static Refrigeration Engineer Position Requirements

• Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience on small to medium commercial refrigeration systems
• Experience working on refrigeration cabinets, ice machines and bottle coolers.
• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• F-Gas 2079 - Cat1
• Based within commutable distance to the depot near Warrington

Static Refrigeration Engineer Position Remuneration

• £38,000 to £40,000 basic salary, depending on salary
• working week, 37.5 hours
• 25 days annual leave, plus bank holiday
• Company Van
• No call out rota
• No extensive overtime etc.
• Would suit an experienced engineer, looking for a work life balance.
