Formed a decade ago with VC backing, full niche market presence achieved within a 12 month period, and expansion into additional volume sector in 2021, charts this innovative organisation’s rise along an impressive growth trajectory.

The company manufactures, sells and applies its proprietary coating systems on mission-critical components utilising nanomaterial dispersion, tightly-controlled spray deposition and post application dry etching to meet stringent stray-light suppression systems requirements.

Due to consolidation and in preparation for their next phase of expansion, we now seek an accomplished individual to drive further penetration via the Marketing functions.

Role

• Responsibilities extend across internal liaison with cross functional teams that will include supply chain, technical support and R&D functions.
• A key objective will be to maximise sales with the existing product offer, but will also have the opportunity to influence the direction of future product development.
• A focus on engaging trade associations, governmental agencies and standards bodies to shape market landscapes favourable to adoption of advanced stray-light suppression technologies via relevant channels
• Partner with product development teams to shape the product roadmap and implement tight feedback cycles between Customers and the development team
• Clearly communicate Company's vision and unique product benefits to varied audiences whilst supporting the Management Team in development of Company Strategy and Departmental Objectives

You

• Embrace and deliver Brand development & communication by drawing on strategic thinking, analytical, interpretation, technical copy content and presentation skills
• Can evidence experience of Marketing research methods, statistical analysis, research and marketing terminology with the ability to transform data into information for business decision making
• Will be fully conversant with Marketing Competition Analysis techniques, be familiar with the Business Development Process and can demonstrate proven experience in Market Mapping
• Should hold a Science, or Nanotechnology degree supported by at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role from within Automotive/Industrial markets, Semiconductor industry, or Coatings/Paint sector
