Quality Control Inspector, Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, Location: Weymouth, Schedule: Monday - Friday, 39 hours per week

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our rapidly expanding business in Weymouth. In this role, you will work closely with a team of passionate individuals to ensure that all machined and fabricated components meet both client and company standards.

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will utilise your extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes to perform the following responsibilities:

  • Conducting First Off Inspections
  • Performing In Process and Roaming Inspections
  • Completing Pre- and Post-Treatment Inspections
  • Conducting Goods In Inspections
  • Performing Final Inspections
  • Producing First Article Inspection Reports

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in a similar role within a machined and fabricated environment. Additionally, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proficiency in using hand-held measuring equipment such as Micrometres, Verniers, Height Gauges, Comparators, and Thread Gauges
  • Prior experience in Quality Assurance
  • An understanding of tolerances
  • The ability to write detailed reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
