Job Description:
Are you a dynamic and self-motivated individual with a strong engineering background? Our client is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team and drive proactive sales efforts across their product range. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Proactively selling the entire product range via telephone communication.
- Handling incoming telephone, web, and email enquiries, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Acquiring and maintaining technical knowledge of new products and relevant offerings.
- Establishing call-back patterns for potential customers.
- Collaborating with suppliers to address technical enquiries and find solutions for complex issues.
- Preparing and following up on quotations and communications resulting from proactive sales activities.
- Liaising with management regarding special pricing arrangements.
- Overseeing stock take activities and ensuring accuracy against the bespoke system.
- Utilising the in-house computerised system for order and quotation entry.
- Exploring new markets for potential sales opportunities.
- Working towards agreed sales targets and objectives.
- Ensuring compliance with the Company's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Conducting face-to-face meetings as necessary to enhance customer experience and identify cross-selling opportunities.
