A Mechanical & Electrical Installation Technician opportunity is available with my client who are a leading provider of Surge Control solutions and associated equipment into the water industry. Their ideal candidate will hold an ECS gold card as well as electrical mechanical assembly and fitting experience both workshop and on site.

Mechanical & Electrical Installation Technician role:
The successful Installation technician will report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for providing a competent and complete assembly and installation service to my client’s customer base.
On a daily basis you will be involved in workshop assembly and fitting of mechanical pipework items as set out in detailed drawings. Site installation work of electrical, mechanical and pipe work items as above and commissioning works. You will be involved in continuous improvements, maintaining and ensuring proper use of company equipment, whilst maintaining and developing a positive attitude towards costs, quality and health and safety. The role does involve UK wide travel and occasional nights away in hotels depending on work location.
Normal working Monday to Friday - Normally Monday to Friday 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. with ½ hour for lunch break (37.5 hours per week). Company vehicle provided for site visits.
Training will be given to the successful candidate.

Mechanical & Electrical Installation Technician requirement:
ECS Gold card 
Electrical mechanical assembly and fitting experience 
Knowledge of various machines and process applications such as compressors, pressure vessels (beneficial not essential).
Water utility industry experience (beneficial not essential)
UK driving license

Electrical Mechanical & Electrical Installation Technician package:
Salary base of up to £40k basic depending on experience 
Paid overtime
