Refrigeration & AC Engineer - London

We are currently seeking an experienced AC & Refrigeration Engineer to join our team based in London. As an AC & Refrigeration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, repair, and installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Job Duties- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of AC and refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with AC and refrigeration systems
- Repair or replace faulty components and parts
- Perform installations of new AC and refrigeration units
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work
- Provide technical advice and support to clients
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects
- Proven experience as an AC & Refrigeration Engineer
- FGAS Category 1 certification
- Possession of qualifications like NVQ, City and Guilds, Hydrocarbons, and CO2 would be advantageous
- A valid full drivers license with no more than 6 points
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical components
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Compensation for travel and overtime

A relevant educational background in air conditioning and refrigeration is required for this role. Candidates should possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications and training in HVAC systems are highly desirable.
ExperienceThe ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years of experience working as an AC & Refrigeration Engineer, with a proven track record in maintenance, repair, and installation of AC and refrigeration systems. Experience in commercial and residential settings is preferred.

- Knowledge of energy-efficient practises

This is a full-time permanent position, expected to work standard full-time hours. The AC & Refrigeration Engineer will primarily work on-site at various locations in London, Greater London, England. The role may involve working in different environments, including commercial and residential settings. The engineer may need to work in confined spaces and at heights, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. The job may require occasional travel to client locations.
The salary for this position is £42.5k + door to door.
