We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Miller to join our team in Long Eaton. They are a small, friendly team with lots of positive changes happening within the next year.

This role is either part time or full time, 2/5 days a week between the hours of 7am to 5pm Monday-Friday. (flexible days) This can be discussed either prior or within the interview.

Candidate must have previous experience with XYZ machines.

We are looking for a CNC/Manual Machinist who has the drive to complete jobs efficiently, accurately and has a positive attitude! You will be working closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure requirements of our customers are met.

We can offer 31 days holiday (pro-rata to part time) including bank holidays, competitive pay, overtime at time & a half if needed, uniform included if wanted and flexible hours.

Duties:

- Operate/Program and maintain CNC machines to machine parts according to specifications
- Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure proper functionality
- Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions
- Perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet required standards
- Assemble and package finished products for shipment
- Utilize hand tools and other equipment as necessary for production tasks
- Follow health & safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

- Familiarity with XYZ Machines and manual machining is preferable
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with tooling and materials handling
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Minimum 5 years experience is needed
