Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of various racking and storage solutions looking to recruit a Trainee Project Manager to carry out site surveys and coordinate warehouse projects across the UK. Responsibilities

· Carrying out site surveys across the UK for racking & storage fit outs and strip outs

· Creating & issuing RAMS and ensuring health and safety is well adhered to

· Reading AutoCAD to understand layout designs

· Ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish

· Being the representative for the company on site

· Liaising with the company Directors to ensure the client’s requirements are met

· Developing an understanding of the Racking & Storage industry

Requirements

The company is looking for someone who is looking for a long term career and has a strong work ethic. It is essential that you have good computer skills and are adept with basic mathematics. They are open to someone who is a recent graduate in construction/project management or similar. In terms of location, you will ideally be based within commutable distance of Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be expected to attend all customer sites up and down the country, staying overnight when required.
