Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

**you must come from a CNC Machine shop background
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance engineer, based at their manufacturing unit in Trafford Park.
Working 37 hours per week on a 3-shift rotating pattern in line with the Flexible Working Scheme.
Skills & Experience:
Must be able to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams
Have good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
Have the ability to work shifts and additional hours when required
Time served and have worked within a heavy industrial environment
Must be able to work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team
Experience with CNC lathes, machining centres an advantage
Knowledge of health and safety principles.
Responsibilities:
Responsible to the line manager your role will include:
Providing breakdown cover - mechanical
Assisting fitters with mechanical breakdowns and repair work
Identifying and leading improvements to processes
Carrying out preventative maintenance work in line with PPM schedules
Fault identification
Maintain plant and equipment to a high standard
Education / Qualifications:
Strong fault finding ability
BTEC HNC Mechanicall Engineering or equivalent
