As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of the cornerstone of the facility's productivity, tasked with the critical responsibility of maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of mechanical systems. Your day-to-day activities will include implementing preventative maintenance schedules, responding to equipment breakdowns with agility, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust foundation in mechanical or electrical engineering, evidenced by a relevant qualification such as an HNC, HND, or an Engineering degree. Hands-on experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or automated environment is highly desirable. Proficiency in fault-finding on PLC-controlled machinery will set you apart, as will a solid understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

In addition to technical acumen, strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail are essential. The ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively with the team, is paramount. Excellent communication skills will enable you to articulate complex technical issues with clarity to a diverse audience.

Hours: Full-Time working a 4 week rotation of Days and late shifts including weekends.
