My client is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary Planning and Design Consultancy who work on projects throughout London and across the UK. They have expertise in residential, education, commercial, retirement, leisure, and mixed-use sectors. Due to significant growth in business, the client is looking for an ambitious Town Planner to join the Planning team.

The Planning team specialise in property and development sectors, and have strong relationships with housebuilders, developers, and registered providers. The successful candidate will have an excellent opportunity gain knowledge from sector leading professionals, to progress their career and work on exciting projects

The Position as a Town Planner

The position as a Town Planner is for a proactive individual. The successful candidate will have a full or licentiate membership with the RTPI, and relevant consultancy experience. As a Town Planner, you will be meaningfully engaged in conducting research and site appraisals, prepare, submit, and negotiate planning applications, respond to development plan consultations, and be confident working independently and in a team.

Essential Criteria for the candidate as a Town Planner

• RTPI accredited town planning degree or relevant
• Chartered (working towards) Member of the RTPI
• Have good communication and an enthusiastic mentality.
• Demonstrable previous experience.
• Have a genuine interest and enthusiasm in planning.
