Role: Electrical Project Manager

Salary banding: £70,000 - £90,000 basic salary (plus extensive company benefits)

Established in the mid 1970's, my client is a recognised market leading MEP building services contractor, undertaking all aspects of electrical and mechanical installation. The business offers a complete design to completion solution, whilst mostly operating across the commercial office, data centre, hotel, industrial/ infrastructure and leisure sectors. Working in partnership with several main contractors and end users, they continue to strive to complete projects to the highest of standards and in accordance with client expectations.

Following a period of company growth, a vacancy has arisen for an Electrical Project Manager. What are the key duties & responsibilities in this role?

• Manage electrical projects across a full project lifecycle including initial tendering, design review, preconstruction, procurement, project delivery, testing & commissioning and final completion.
• Commercial management, ensuring project activity is delivered in accordance with budget constraints.
• Liaise and communicate with main contractors and end user clients.
• Deliver an exceptionally high standard of project delivery.
• Ensure HSE/ QA/ QC policies are adhered too.
• Act as a point of contact for site personnel.
• Chair and attend design and site progress meetings.

The ideal candidate for this position?

• Having achieved a recognised electrical qualification and/ or relevant academic qualification.
• A stable and proven career history, with upwards of eight years electrical building services experience.
• A team player with effective planning & management capabilities.
• Strong written/ verbal communicational skills.
