My client is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join there team working on water/wastewater projects across the Kent area. Being a leading name within utilities within the UK they cover various sectors including water/rail/highways and many more. Thier business has been providing specialist knowledge and expertise in the design, project management, fabrication and installation of worldwide steelwork projects. The Role:

The Mechanical Fitter role will see you working in both the workshop based in Dover and out on water/wastewater sites across the Kent Region. Using key skills wokring on Steel frameworks in the work shop and erecting steel platfors and staircases to then be taken out to site to install. Being a multi-site role, you will be seen to be travelling around the region however my client can provide a vehicle for this.

Skills required:

  • Full UK drivers licence (Must have)
  • Previous experience working with Steelworks
  • Previous experience working on Industrial environments
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • CSCS (Desirable)
  • EUSR (Desirable)
  • Qualificaiton in Mechanical Engineering (C&G, NVQ or HND/Bacs)
