Principal Mechanical Engineer

Are you an experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer looking with a strong building services background looking to work with a close team of engineers just outside of Reading?
Our client is a busy building services consultancy that works very closely with contractors, architects and end clients to create fantastic designs throughout a variety of different sectors, commercial, retail, mixed use residential some healthcare schemes to name a few. They're currently on the lookout for an enthusiastic Principal Mechanical Engineer to join the team just outside of Reading.
As a Principal Mechanical Engineer you will be involved with conceptual and detailed designs through all of the RIBA stages. Provide Mechanical design expertise to clients in a wide variety of contexts as well as developing strategic, technically based reports and plans. You'll prepare condition surveys, forward maintenance plans, dilapidation schedules, defect analyses, system diagnostics reports, schedules of condition and the monitoring of the subsequent works processes.
Principal Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
- 6-10 years' experience of Mechanical engineering design in the building services and construction industry
- Experience working on projects in the following sectors would be beneficial; Higher Education, Museums, Commercial, Cultural Sector
- Relevant bachelor or master's degree
- Revit Experience
- Excellent technical knowledge of Mechanical systems and able to use industry recognised software
- Experience in the preparation of technical reports
