Engineering Supervisor

As Engineering Supervisor, you will the ability to lead and motivate other Engineers, finding solutions for challenging problems, overseeing the shift activities as well as ensuring PPM is completed and managing external contractors. You will be able to prioritise and manage resources under high pressure and be highly self-motivated.

As our next Engineering Supervisor, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the team is on track accomplishing engineering department goals. You will be responsible for direct leadership and coaching of Engineers, Automation Controllers and Apprentices. You will work directly with other Supervisors and the Engineering Manager to set strategic long term goals.
The Key Requirements
- Leadership experience is essential
- Multi-skilled in both electrical & mechanical disciplines with relevant experience in automation or complex MHE environments
- HNC / HND Qualified is desirable. NVQ 3 engineering qualification is essential
- Contractor management experience
- Experience in fault diagnosis & fault rectification of PLCs, Complex IO Systems, Industrial Control Systems, Industrial Fieldbus Networks (Profibus, Profinet), Laser Distance Sensors, Bar Code Readers, Inverter Drives, Encoders, Motors, Sensors, Limit Switches, Proximity Sensors & others
