Trainee Swimming Pool Service Engineer

£20-£25k (dependent on experience)

Based out of my clients Durham office

Full Time role – Mon to Fri 08:00 – 17:00

Attega Group are currently partnering with a leading Swimming Pool Installation company, in recruiting for a trainee engineer for their Durham branch.

The main purpose of the role is to attend existing swimming pool sites to carry out planned maintenance inspections on the following equipment:

Sodium Hypochlorite dosing systems (including electrochlorination)

Calcium Hypochlorite dosing systems

Hydrochloric Acid and Sodium Bi-sulphate dosing systems

Carbon Dioxide dosing systems

Ultra Violet sterilisation systems

Filtration systems

In return, our client is offering a salary up to £25k

Reporting to the Maintenance manager the main responsibilities will include:

Following completion of service visits, you will be trained to produce comprehensive reports on the equipment maintained and recommendations for any remedial works required.

To carry out small works and refurbishment projects on maintained sites, related to the above listed systems, with the service engineer.

To attend to any breakdown/call-outs as required on maintained sites, related to the above listed systems with the service engineer.

Where required, to assist the Major Projects department with installations and/or training for the above systems.

The ideal candidate will be required to have:

A willingness and dedication to learn on the job

Must hold a UK driving license
