We are currently partnering with a precision engineering business that due to expansion and continued growth is now sourcing an Estimator to join their team.
 
The successful Estimator will enjoy working for a full turnkey service provider who have built a reputation for quality and delivery over the last 50 + years. The business has continued to stay at the top of their niche by consistently investing in state-of-the-art processes and machinery, and as the Estimator you will have access to all of this.
 
 
Responsibilities for Estimator:
 
  • You will be responsible for analysing customer requirements and specifications.
  • Providing accurate cost estimates.
  • Provide Production plans for all engineering projects.
  • Always work to improve and have a continuous improvement focus on all you do.
  • Be involved with any projects that can help improve the business, having input where appropriate.
  • Providing a pro-active approach to your work, with a get-it-done attitude.
 
Key skills and experience for Estimator:
 
  • You will have experience working within a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Ideally you will ideally know your way around a machine shop and have a strong understanding of machining, perhaps having been hands-on yourself.
  • A strong knowledge of processes and manufacturing methods.
  • Pro-active approach, who can look outside the box.
