Integrted Security Systems Project Engineer

Ideal candidate wil be experienced on systems such as LENEL, CC-Cure, Gallagher

You will be invlode with blue-chip clients across London and high value projects in Europe.

ROLE:

This role of Project Engineer is primarily to work with specific customers to ensure the smooth running of projects.  Additionally, there may be a requirement to continue in the role of Senior Installation Engineer, depending on workloads.

The Project Engineer (PE) will be part of a team, which as a group will perform the duties to install Security Systems at customer’s premises.

Generally, this role is to Project Manage and Install any smaller orders that the company receives through, either the Service or Installation Department

The role requires a great deal of initiative, autonomy, and client liaison.  Flexibility is essential in adapting to future changes within the company and fluctuations within the workload.  The role may include the supervision of other engineers, Subcontractors or Junior Engineers and will be expected to actively manage, train, and guide these persons.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

These duties will be based upon all or part of the following:

• The Projects Manager (PM) will allocate new projects to the PE, after a project review. The PE will then be responsible for the planning, scheduling, installation, and handover of the project.
• On receipt of a new job file, the PE will review the project to ensure that they are fully conversant with the contract conditions. The PE will also ensure that the equipment specified constitutes a working and suitable system in liaison with the Salesman and the Customer. Where necessary, any queries will be resolved at this stage.
• Any predetermined program of works and delivery schedule will be noted and actioned. Any changes will, proactively, be notified to the customer and the Salesman.
• The PE will be responsible for monitoring the profitability of all projects under their control. Any concerns should be highlighted to the PM.
• The PE will monitor the progress of their work at all times and will advise the PM of any changes through regular 'Project Reviews’.
