Building Services Engineer
Location: Battersea
Salary: £44,000 - £46,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 08:00 – 17:00
Alice Rose is currently recruiting a Building Services Engineer with either a Mechanical or Electrical Bias to be based in a residential complex in Battersea. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an established building services provider.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record in commercial / property building maintenance. They will be required to carry out M&E planned and reactive maintenance.
Building Services Maintenance Engineer Key duties & Responsibilities:
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution
- Emergency lighting
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Chillers - Re-set
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e., Hot & Colds)
- UPS Systems - Monitor / Take reading.
- General building fabric
- Monitor mechanical plant.
- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
Building Services Maintenance Engineer Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday (40-hour week)
- 08:00 to 17:00
Building Services Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Electrically or mechanically qualified - You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates.
- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2&3
- City & Guilds - 17th or 18th Edition if electrically bias
- A proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
- Installation experience
- Overtime available
- 25 days holiday + BH
