Fire and Security Service Engineer | The office is based in Billericay, you will be working on the road, Primarily Essex, London & Kent, with customers nationwide | Full Time | Call-out shifts on a rota basis | £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year OTE £40,000-£50,000 per annum

Due to continued growth and expansion, they are currently seeking a Fire and Security Service Engineer with experience in Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV Systems and Access Control Systems. Knowledge of Fire Extinguishers, Gates & Barriers & Emergency Lights would be beneficial but not essential.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Minimum 2 years in the Fire & Security industry
• Previous experience and understanding of relevant standards such as BS8243, BS5839:1, and BS7671
• Experience working to BAFE SP203-1 and all NSI Gold standards
• Good timekeeping skills
• Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dynamic, forward-thinking, and ambitious
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK

What will your role look like?

• Perform PPMs, Service Work, Callouts, and Small Works to industry standards, NSI, and BAFE
• Conduct system commissioning and handovers to customers
• Troubleshoot and resolve faults in systems
• Meet predefined target times for monthly PPMs
• Communicate effectively with the office and sales staff regarding customer issues
• Utilise electronic reporting and PDA/CRM systems
• Ensure effective control of stock and vehicle audit
• Maintain awareness of Health and Safety protocols
• Present a professional appearance
