Mechanical Service Engineer | Kingswinford | Full Time, 40 hours – 7.30 am-4pm with 30 minutes lunch plus overtime | £35,000 negotiable upon experience plus overtime

Crane Care is a well-established material handling company that designs, manufactures, installs and commissions specialised material handling systems including cranes, hoists, runways and lifting beams, together with remote control equipment.

Due to continued success, we are seeking to recruit an additional Mechanical Service Engineer to assist with general service work relating to overhead travelling cranes and ancillary equipment and general service work. The successful applicant will have some electrical knowledge/experience.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Strong experience in maintenance engineering within the crane industry or similar
  • Qualified by experience or with a recognised qualification in Engineering with Mechanical or Mechanical & Electrical bias
  • Must have some electrical knowledge
  • Computer literacy as you will be required to record all work through iPad technology
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and prepared to travel extensively throughout the Midlands and occasionally further
  • Live within a commutable distance

  • Carrying out service, breakdown & installation work overhead travelling cranes/hoists/remotes and ancillary equipment
  • Working throughout the Midlands and occasionally other areas of the UK
