Our client is one of the leading Engineering and Construction companies within the UK. You will be joining a progressive specialist business unit working on a variety of M&E/Civil Engineering projects from Gas to grid, HV Power for National Grid, and Rail.  

As the Senior Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of medium to large scale projects.

Responsibilities:

• To prepare and articulate competent plans for any scale of project that comply with company and functional procedures and standards and contribute to business success.
• Prepare a resourced programme, including reviewing the outcome for conformance with expectations and requirements.
• Draw up a bid preparation programme and contribute to the tender queries database.
• Monitor project progress, tracking key milestones, and providing regular updates to project stakeholders.
• Identify potential delays, conflicts, or resource constraints and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a main contracting environment preferred.
• Preferably Civil experience.
• Use of P6 Planning software.
• Flexibility to travel to sites when required.

You will be working on a flexible hybrid basis from their local regional office. On offer is an excellent overall package. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and their package includes a company car or £7,500 car allowance and you would be eligible for a 10% bonus scheme.
