My client is a globally leading engineering company that specialises in supplying innovative solutions for subsea and harsh environment applications. They are currently in need of a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team in Stithians, Cornwall.

ROLE: Working as a Purchase Ledger Assistant you will support the Finance Co-ordinator with daily routine processing tasks and other such duties to support the finance function and wider business.

DUTIES:

• Monitoring accounts email inbox
• Ensuring supplier invoices match purchase orders
• Processing of all supplier invoices into Xero
• Ensuing all invoices are received against supplier statements
• Adding credit card receipts and expenses to Xero
• Assist procurement on purchase orders.
• Chasing any credit card receipts/invoices not received against purchases
• Other ad hoc duties as and when required

SKILLS:

• Experience using Xero Accounting software
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Adaptive, able to use own initiative and ability to work independently
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail
