Title: Sales Business Manager (Hybrid + travel)

Salary: £45,000 per annum + Uncapped Commission

Working hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours) + paid overtime    

Location: Head Office - Northamptonshire, regular travel throughout the UK

We’re seeking a technical and commercially astute professional, to use their tenacious ability to proactively identify opportunities, build solid working relationships and secure new business.

The Business Manager Role:

• Responsible for winning new business  for the company and retaining relationships with pre-existing clients
• Travel throughout the UK to prospective customers to promote and share the company’s product range and services. Providing demonstrations and answering any technical questions they may have.
• Attend trade and business networking events to expand partnerships, identify opportunities and capitalise on business
• Secure new business by understanding the companies you’re engaging with, listening to their requirements and providing technical solutions
• Communicate clearly with the internal team to ensure customers expectation are exceeded
• Work additional hours when required to support the company’s busier periods

You’ll Need:

• Able to build robust relationships with customers and internal teams
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to engage and influence
• A strategic thinker who is forward thinking and proactive in their approach
• Able to present to customers, teams and Senior Stakeholder
• Commercially astute, adaptable and adopts a proactive approach
• An active listener, that can identify opportunities
• Driving Licence is required as regular travel to customers premises throughout the UK will be required
• Engineering or technical degree or equivalent is desirable however not essential
