Excellent opportunity to join our client’s business based in Basildon, Essex within their Research & Development Team. Our client specialises in design, manufacture and distribution of laser cutting/engraving systems and are seeking an experienced R & D Engineer.
Based from their Basildon office, you will be part of their team regarding cutting edge products and will be involved in all aspects of the design/build process for model updates, new models, custom and special builds, primarily for laser marking/cutting devices including product handling and other ancillary devises. You will be involved in all aspects of mechatronics/pneumatics/automation/software. It is essential to have a working knowledge of mechanics, electronics & proficiency with SolidWorks.
Ideally with at least three years proven experience in a similar role but not necessarily lasers.
Package:
This is a full time, permanent role
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
Salary in the region of £40,000 to £45,000
Due to location, own transport is essential.
20 days holiday plus BH + day for each of service to a max of +5
