An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer – Steelwork, to join a successful and well-established Steelwork Fabrication business. 

You will join an existing engineering team and work on design and build projects collaboratively, these are typically steel structures of both beam and stick and portal frame.

You should have experience working on steel framed building projects and can expect a very good starting salary (with optional overtime available, increasing your earning potential) and working in a friendly and supportive environment.
 

Structural Engineer - Steelwork duties include: 

•Design of structural sections and associated connections where required. 

•Providing technical/design advice to internal drawing office as required. 

Structural Engineer - Steelwork requirements: 

•Hold a professional Engineering qualification. 

•Proven experience working as a Structural Engineer, ideally on steel framed building projects, either for a fabrication company or a consultancy /main contractor. 

•Design and build project experience would be advantageous but is not essential.   

•Good communication skills 

•Live in/within a commutable distance of the office near Dudley, West Midlands.
