ROLE: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

LOCATION: Corby, NN17

HOURS OF WORK: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm Rotating (No Nights)

BASIC SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000pa DOE

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their skilled team within their Corby facility.

In this Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role, you will be responsible for:

• Maintenance and upkeep of various machines and building services
• Installation of new or upgraded equipment with pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical components on to production systems
• Upkeep of building services
• Prepare and execute maintenance, servicing and conversion work within the production facility
• Readjust machinery and machine parameters based on production levels
• Carry out lower level maintenance activities, including welding, basic electrical tasks, cleaning, driving and assisting with their trade activity

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven maintenance experience within a production / manufacturing environment, specifically within mechanical maintenance and installations
• Good knowledge of drive, control and regulation technology
• Good diagnostic skills
• Good problem solver and adaptable
• Ability to work in a team, as well as independantly
• Be organised and a solution-orientated way of working
• Relevant Mechanical engineering qualifiction
