The Company

Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality products. With multiple sites across the UK, this multi-million-pound company is looking to recruit a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their strong and accomplished engineering team.

Their site in Leicestershire produces a range of classic food products into the biggest supermarkets and have seen huge growth in their turnover which now stands at over £1billion. The business is always looking to improve its operation and is actively looking at ways to increase efficiencies with engineering being at the heart of this drive. Due to an internal promotion the site now requires a maintenance engineer.

The Role as a Maintenance Engineer

The maintenance engineer will be responsible for all electrical fault finding and rectification work on production lines on site. This would include fault finding through to a competent level with a multimeter or by checking inputs and outputs, reading schematics and checking HMI screens.

The work will be a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance working with skilled engineers to keep production running to its optimum capacity.

The Candidate

To be successful in your application for this maintenance engineer opportunity you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:

• Must have a recognised electrical qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ level 3, BTEC, ONC, C&G, HNC, HND).
• Experience of working in a maintenance role
• A positive can-do attitude.
