Press Brake/ Assembly Operative

Skilltech Resourcing are urgently seeking an experienced press brake operative with additional mechanical assembly skills in the Widnes area, an interesting position for a good “all-rounder” from an engineering or steel fabrication background.
The role will involve a varied mixture of duties including but not limited to: -
- Operating and Amada CNC press brake and additionally punch press when required.
- Assisting the team with the mechanical assembly of fabricated products through the use of hand and power tools.
- Working on own initiative and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Any additional skills such as MIG welding an advantage.
This position is initially temporary, with a permanent contract offered following a qualifying period. Day shift Monday to Friday plus overtime as required by the business.
£13.10 - £14.03 depending on experience.
