Demand Planner
Location: Pulborough

Main Objectives
Plan, schedule and coordinate finished goods and assemblies through the production cycle. Work with management to ensure the schedule meets customer and company needs. Expedite as required all internal manufacturing departments. Work within a mixed MRP/Lean environment.

Evaluates and reports potential problem areas. Work under general supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. At times may consult with senior peers on certain projects.

Key Responsibilties

  • Global customer demand data analysis and forecast projections.
  • Conduct forecast projections per product family.
  • Maintain forecast module settings in ERP system.
  • MPS forecast upload and data maintenance.
  • Support SIOP process by gathering the required data. Prepare statistical analysis of Sales, Inventory, and other data.
  • Create presentation to conduct SIOP monthly meetings to improve revenue, on time performance and inventory forecasting.
  • Analyze Supply vs Demand to optimize Supply Chain strategy.
  • Identify supply and demand issues (gaps to plan), identify scenarios to mitigate, and prepare recommendations for senior leadership review.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills required.
  • Effectively able to communicate and influence stakeholders and partners at various levels and across functions within the organization.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP Systems and logic, specifically demand forecasting and simulation modules.
  • Demonstrated track record of ability to deliver results through others and influence without authority.
  • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to quickly grasp and interpret information pertinent to the growth of the organization.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress.
  • Ability to analyze data and create reports which accurately reflect the state of the business.
  • Bilingual Spanish and English
  • Expertise with statistics and data
  • Six Sigma and LEAN certification/experience a plus
  • Up to 10% global travel (Able to travel to Mexico, USA, Europe, Asia)
  • Expertise on measuring and calculating forecast Bias.
  • Experience working in vertical integrated operation, low volume, and high mix business.


Education
Bachelor's Degree required, Masters' Degree Preferred

Experience / Certification

  • 4+ years' experience in Customer demand and production control planning
  • SIOP Certification Preferred
  • APICS certification Preferred.
  • Change Management/ADKAR training.


Special Skills

  • Ability to utilize ERP system; Glovia knowledge a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, Power BI, Power Point, Outlook
  • Experience leading demand teams using forecast accuracy and bias with statistical data to drive improved customer forecast accuracy and optimized inventory.
  • Expertise in data analysis and presenting to senior leaders
