We have an opportunity for an experienced MACHINE SETTER – CNC FLAME CUTTER to join the team of a well established Dudley based Engineering business, itself part of a profitable privately owned group of companies.

This is a Monday to Friday days job. Starting salary is anticipated to be in the region of £27k to £30k but is entirely negotiable with experience. Overtime is available at an enhanced rate.

As a MACHINE SETTER – CNC FLAME CUTTER you will be primarily involved in:

• Running and operating a CNC flame cutting machine
• Machine set up
• Handing raw materials & finished parts
• Quality checks
• Clean down and basic machine care and maintenance
• Possibly some modifying basic programs

The successful MACHINE SETTER – CNC FLAME CUTTER will have the following key skills and attributes:

• Previous experience in setting up and running flame cutting machinery is essential
• Basic programming aptitude would be beneficial
• Mechanically confident when working with machinery
• Able and will to keep machines clean and serviceable
• Proactive problem solver with strong work ethic
• Experience of operating laser and / or plasma cutters would be useful

This position will ideally suit an experienced SETTER / OPERATOR with specific experience of CNC FLAME CUTTING MACHINES.
