Maintenance Engineering Team Leader

£45,000 (Negotiable) + £5000 Bonus + Overtime + Pension + Healthcare.

OTE – c£55,000 (per annum)

3-Shift Pattern – 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm (Mon – Fri) / 10pm-6am (Sun – Thur).

An excellent opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Team Leader to lead a dedicated engineering team in the upkeep of highly automated machinery in a high-speed manufacturing environment. This is a unique opportunity to join a professional, experienced team within a technically challenging, highly automated production environment.

This role supports manufacturing through the provision of maintenance engineering activities across all automated production machinery on site. If you are adept at achieving optimisation of plant availability through skilled maintenance engineering practices and getting the best out of a team, this could be for you!

Role Description.

• Supervising a small team of maintenance engineers, achieving department engineering objectives.
• Supervising of the team to provide reactive, planned, preventative and emergency maintenance to minimise machinery downtime.
• Helping to provide ‘hands on’ maintenance engineering support.
• Supervising and managing installation activities, both electrical and mechanical.
• Utilising the CMMS.
• Ensure all work is conducted to H&S standards and risk assessments conducted.
• Reporting into the Maintenance Engineering Manager.

Skills and Qualifications.

• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineering background – Electrically biased.
• Formal Electrical / Mechanical Qualifications (Level 3+).
• Experience of working within a high-speed manufacturing environment (essential).
• Supervisory or Team Leadership experience.
• Clear communication skills and highly organised.
