Actio Engineering Recruitment are delighted to be assisting our Durham based precision engineering client with their search for CNC Millers.

Our client requires a time served and experienced engineers with experience programming or setting and operating CNC Mills with Mazak or Fanuc controls.

• Oil and Gas
• Nuclear
• Rail
• Medical

The Job

The purpose of this role is to produce high quality machined parts working on Mazak or Fanuc controlled Mills on low volume billet work.

You will:

• Programme or set and operate CNC Mills with Mazak or Fanuc controls
• Setting up tooling
• Loading and unloading machines
• Selecting correct tooling
• Working with minimal supervision
• Maintaining safe operation of machinery
• Complete documentation and timesheets


About You

The ideal candidate will have the ability to program or set and operate jobs on the machine using Mazatrol or Fanuc. You will be able to work to tight tolerances and read engineering drawings.

Hours

Double Day Shift 

Week 1 – Monday to Thursday – 6am to 2pm, Friday 6am to 12pm
Week 2 – Monday to Thursday 2pm to 11.25pm 

Pay

£17-21p/h (depending on level and experience)

20% shift allowance
Overtime at time and a half
