Our client, a leading provider in the HTP sector, is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to join their team. This is a 3-month rolling contract position with the potential for extension. As a Senior Traffic Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of TFL LIP funded projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the improvement of traffic flow and safety in the borough.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing traffic management schemes
  • Assessing traffic flow data and making recommendations for improvements
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior team members
  • Conducting traffic impact assessments for new developments
  • Monitoring and evaluating the success of traffic schemes



Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience in traffic engineering, specifically in designing and delivering traffic management schemes
  • Strong understanding of TFL LIP funding requirements
  • Proficiency in traffic modelling software and relevant industry tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications in traffic engineering or a related discipline



This position is based in London and requires 3 days per week in the office. The hourly rate for this contract role ranges from £35 to £45 depending on experience.
