JOB DESCRIPTION: Mechanical Design Engineer, CAD Technician, CAD Draughtsperson - Print, Automation
 
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be involved in designing a variety of automated machines and fixtures in our UK and International facilities. You'll be involved from the design stage, right through to the build and implementation stages, so you can see your designs come to life.
 
You could be a CAD Technician or CAD Draughtsperson who's eager to progress into a Mechanical Design Engineer.
 
In this role you'll be:
· Leading design and risk assessment reviews
· Preparing and presenting project information and costs
· Providing support for modifications and design changes at build stage
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Mechanical Design Engineer, CAD Technician, CAD Draughtsperson - Print, Automation
 
You'll have completed your HNC, ONC, degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or similar and have an interest in mechanical assembly design. You'll have experience working on 3D CAD, ideally with Solid Edge, but we'll fully train you anyway.
 
As our Design Engineer you'll:
· Be a proactive problem solver
