My client based in the Droitwich area is looking to recruit a Production Planner on a Permanent basis.

You will plan all aspects of production, working with the other departments in the business to ensure the production process runs as smoothly as possible.

The main responsibilities associates with the role includes

- Ensure daily operations run as smoothly as possible implementing "Best Practice"
- issue lead times and completion dates to relevant departments
- Ensure staff numbers are met by managing holidays/cover as required
- Manage the hours for each job
- Ensure raw materials are in stock in advance of the job starting

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

- Previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing/engineering
- an ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Good IT skills incl MS Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem solving skills and be highly organized
- Positive attitude

This role is Mon-Fri and the salary on offer is up to £36,000
